Custom emojis: Configure additional emojis in Motion Settings to create different types of tasks:

- 🐛 for bug reports
- Or any emoji you prefer!
Motion captures the message content, sender, channel, and timestamp — creating a complete task with all the context you need.
Message Shortcuts
Need a quick alternative? Use the "Create Motion Task" message shortcut:
- Hover over any message
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯)
- Select "Create Motion Task"
That's it! Motion instantly creates a task based on that message — capturing all the context automatically.
Note: This creates a task with the same one-click simplicity as emoji reactions — perfect when you prefer menus over emojis or when working on mobile.
Pro tip: Both methods work in public channels automatically. For private channels,
just mention @Motion once to invite the bot.
