We are excited to introduce our new calendar task visibility feature that allows you to control whether tasks appear on your calendar. Too many tasks can cause clutter and reduce focus. With this feature, you can opt for a minimal calendar view that shows only essential meetings and deadlines.

Motion now lets you decide if tasks should be visible on your calendar. Many users find that time blocking fills every available slot and creates visual clutter. With our toggle option, you can reduce calendar clutter while still retaining key project oversight.
Q: How do I hide tasks from my calendar?
- During onboarding, choose the “No, don't show tasks on Motion Calendar” option.
- In Settings -> Auto-scheduling you can now select: "Don't show tasks on Motion Calendar"
- In the calendar display options menu you can untoggle "Show tasks in the calendar"
