Relationships

Relationships define how items connect to each other across the hierarchy. They provide context, sequencing, and traceability.

Relationship	Details
Dependencies	Tasks can be marked as dependent on other tasks. A dependent task cannot be scheduled until its prerequisite is complete.
Cross-project links	Tasks can reference or depend on tasks in other projects within the same workspace. Cross-workspace dependencies are not supported.
References	Any item (task, doc, project) can be mentioned in another item’s description or comment using @mention. Creates a persistent link to the referenced item.
Navigation links	Copy link generates a direct URL to the specific item or block. Access depends on workspace permissions.
